You realise you are ancient
- when you refer to "Gandhi" in a conversation and someone asks you "which one?"
- when you wear a saree and some one asks, " what is the occasion?"
- when you have friends who do not have e-mail addresses.

All three happened to me last week!

Also when you keep referring to Bombay and Madras, instead of Mumbai and Chennai,and you read the newspaper more than watch TV/online news, and you are the only one in office who gets your salary by cheque, since your bank is still Syndicate Bank (known as dog bank by young colleagues) and you don't even have a Citibank account...

    I am a journalist,and enjoyed reading your postings. Seems you too are interested in media..
    Yea, we do coin terms... and Indian media too picks up coinages from US media.. that way US media is too good at this.. Until 9/11 Indian media didn't use "terror attacks". Now we do.
    By the way, I am a great fan of BBC...
